Split Pine Ranch is family-owned, facility located Black Forest, Colorado. We are natives of Colorado and have been living here at this location since 1999. This original homestead on 41 acres has been a "work in progress" over the past 15 years and is our dream come true. What started out as a 1904 old barn with 4 stalls and too many horses. Now we have a 14 stall barn/runs attached to a 100 x 180 indoor arena, lounge, bathrooms, wash rack and office. There is also a 60 foot round pen, 150 x 250 outdoor arena, four turnout pastures and 41 acres to ride. Our stallion KBs Timepiece ("Lex"), is our jewel and used for equine learning sessions as well as his offspring. We host half day and full day retreats offered by Holistic Therapeutic Equine Center (HTEC). Our desire is to become more involved and supportive of our community. In Sept 2016, we started a nonprofit 501C3 called HTEC with the mission to "use the power of horses and alternative therapies to help people heal from traumatic stress". "Lex" was bred for my best friend KB who died from cancer. He was her therapy and is the "gift that keeps giving". Proceeds from his breeding fees are donated to HTEC in memory of my dear beloved friend.
